 The Town of Rangely budgets on an annual basis. The fiscal year is from January 1 to December 31 of each year. The staff prepares the proposed budget and submits it to the Town Council for review. The Town Council holds several workshops to review salaries and benefits and review the proposed expenditures. The Budget and Certification of the Mill Levy are finalized no later than December 10th and submitted to DOLA and Rio Blanco County respectively.
