Utility Billing is responsible for maintaining positive customer relations during connection, disconnection, billing and payment collections of utility services. The utility billing clerk can answer questions about your account, change the billing name or address, help you establish a new account, or schedule water meter readings for residents who are moving. Utility Billing also handles requests to stop and start services, answers customer inquiries concerning their accounts and handles all billing maintenance entries necessary to send accurate and timely bills to our customers.
 

Utility Billing Variances

Many factors affect how much water or gas your home uses each month, and several are beyond the homeowner's control. One common mistake, however, is to compare this month's bill with last month's bill. Instead, customers should compare each month's bill with the bill from the same month the prior year. Changing temperatures must also be considered when making comparison.
