The Town of Rangely is soliciting applications for the position of Animal Control Officer.  Requirements: age 18, valid CO Driver’s License plus two years experience in working with or caring for animals; or in lieu thereof an equivalent combination of experience and training, good driving record, must be in good physical shape, have some knowledge of Town geography, the ability to handle cats, dogs and other animals in a humane manner, ability to deal with the public in a variety of emotional or difficult situations, ability to follow written and verbal instructions, ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and the public.
High school graduation or equivalency.

Position is part-time with approximately 20 hours a week.  Salary is commensurate with experience.
